How to Play Crypto Raffles on the hood

By the hood · Sep 10, 2026 · 4 min read

The whole loop fits in one sitting. Install a wallet, put a little crypto in, buy tickets, watch a draw, cash out. There is no account form and no card anywhere in it. Here's every step with the real numbers attached, in the order you will meet them.

What you need first

A browser or a phone and a little crypto are the whole kit. You need to be 18 or older and outside a restricted jurisdiction, and you accept those Terms through a checkbox before the wallet picker opens. That checkbox is the only paperwork in the flow.

Phantom is the supported wallet, free as a browser extension or a mobile app. Either one covers the whole flow. You hold your own keys, which makes you your own password manager. Write the recovery phrase on paper and keep it somewhere boring.

Money-wise, bring whatever fits your budget. Once credited, your balance lives in dollar terms, and the header can flip between a USD and a SOL view. Tickets are priced in SOL, and the cheapest seeded round sits at 0.01 a ticket.

Step by step

  1. Sign in with your wallet. Hit connect, pick Phantom, and approve the signature request. That signature is your account, and it replaces every field a signup form would ask for. One wallet is one account, and there is no email or password to forget.
  2. Deposit. Your account gets a personal deposit address. Send SOL, or a stablecoin like USDC or USDT on Solana, and a background worker spots the transfer, prices it off a Jupiter snapshot, and credits your balance in dollar terms. The minimum credited deposit is $1 equivalent. Below that, the transfer is recorded and swept, but it does not hit your balance.
  3. Pick a round. Live rounds sit on the home page with the ticket price and closing time on each card. The Hourly Quickdraw runs 0.01 SOL tickets, the Daily Crypto Pot 0.05, and the Weekly Mega Raffle 0.2. Cards also show the percentage of each sale going to the pool, 95% on current rounds.
  4. Buy your tickets. Choose a quantity and confirm. One purchase can carry up to 100 tickets, and no wallet can hold more than 100 in a single round. More tickets means a bigger share of the drum at the same fixed price, whatever the round costs per entry.
  5. Watch the draw. Sales close at the printed minute, the draw runs, and one ticket takes the whole pot. The winner is paid to their in-app balance at settlement. A round needs at least two distinct wallets or it is voided and everyone is refunded in full. Recurring rounds reopen on their own after each draw, so a missed closing time just points you at the next one. Results of past rounds stay up for browsing.
  6. Withdraw. Payouts go out in SOL to your wallet, with a $5 minimum per withdrawal and a flat $1 service fee plus the normal Solana network fee. An automated worker handles them, and they usually clear in minutes. The $5 floor is per withdrawal, and nothing stops you from letting winnings stack up in the balance first.

Two ways out before the draw

Regret is cheap while a round is live. You can sell tickets back for 50% of what you paid, and the refund lands in your balance instantly. And if a round never attracts a second wallet, it voids with a full refund for every buyer. Neither path needs a support ticket, and neither leaves you waiting on a person. Half back is the standing price of changing your mind, same for every wallet.

Check the draw after it runs

Every round commits to its result before selling a single ticket. The server generates a seed when the round is created and publishes only its hash. After settlement, the seed is revealed along with the formula, which mixes in a public client seed and the round id to derive the winner. The verification tool on the provably fair page re-runs any draw from the revealed numbers, so you can confirm the winner was fixed before you bought in.

How pots and odds work

That's the whole game. The longer version, pots and odds included, lives in What is a crypto raffle. This page stays the button-by-button version. See you in a round.
